Better Scrum Through Essence

Over the years, I have heard from teams the need for a tool that helps accelerate their learning and application of Scrum. Scrum Essential Cards, capture  the key ideas behind Scrum, providing an easy hands-on reference to make that happen.

I worked with Ivar Jacobson International to capture the essential elements of Scrum using the Essence industry standard. These essential elements are then presented as a set of cards which give you a handy reference guide in your pocket.

Each card includes just a few sentences of the most important information from the Scrum Guide. This  helps to keep the conversation on track and ensure important items are not forgotten.

I use the cards in many Scrum training courses today and they prove to be very popular, with both students and training partners. The cards add  hands-on exercises and games to enhance the learning experience.

Teams often represent their actual work items with cards or sticky notes on their team boards to visualize, prioritise, track and make decisions about them. Using cards in a similar way to represent key parts of Scrum gives them the ability to better reason about and make decisions about how they work together as a team.

Android P Will Stop Supporting Apps Developed for Android 4.1 or Lower Versions

It was only a fortnight ago that Google had unveiled its latest version Android P after Oreo with some noteworthy changes. Now, it seems that the Company has already finalized its next set of action.
